Feet Don't Fail Me Now
- An uplifting rhythm of life
In a kind of Ska, kind of London accent style, this is a humorous song about a guy out for a night out at a club. Inspired by 2 Tonic's "Here Come De Hurricane"

Feet don't fail me now, gonna need you later.
I'm off down to the club, need to impress 'er.

You know it all makes sense, when the spring is in your step.
You've worked real hard all week, now it's time to let it go.

I'm meeting this new bird, and she's a corker.
Don't know if you heard, I really like 'er.

It makes the world go round, to hear the joyous sound
Of a band who play in time, or the pigeons in the square.

Mouth don't fail me now, gonna kiss 'er later.
Put my arm around, then I'll undress 'er.

She has a lovely smile, makes me happy all the while.
By the time the night is done, we'll be friends for ever more.

Wish me all good luck, gonna need it later.
Despite my lack of cash, it'll be a belter.

I'm walking on thin air, past the people as they stare.
No I don't care what they think, I whistle a happy tune.

Feet don't fail me now, gonna need you later.
Mouth don't fail me now, gonna kiss 'er later.

No, Feet don't fail me now … gonna need you later.
