Jesters
- A cheap night out
Recollections of a night out at a local student night spot.
Not the best place I've been to, but it has its charms.
Down the student club again.
Drinking beer, talking Zen.
Pretty girls and leering men.
Chat up lines, knowing when.
Sweet refreshing alcopop.
Brain engage, music stop.
Disco beat electro-pop.
Dancing girl, spangley top.
Smell of vomit on the stair.
Drinks are cheap, we don't care.
Cannot hear you standing there.
Come outside, take the air.
Fizzing with a twist of lime.
Fancy feet, move in line.
Vodka does it every time.
Sing along, feeling fine.
Keep your coat and chill within.
Thursday night, pack 'em in.
Dance all night if you are trim.
Work out here, not the gym.
This is such a groovy place.
Student dive, chill-out space.
Drinking beer at your own pace.
Go tonight, off your face.
