West Quay
- New shopping centre experience
The first time that I went into the enormous new shopping centre
in Southampton, I was overwhelmed with the number of people. Fast-paced
apart from the last comment!
There's people going up.
And people going down.
People going over,
And people going round.
There's people wanting food.
And people sitting down.
So everywhere you go,
Is such a people sound!
There's people in the lift.
And people on the stair.
Some of them look worried,
And some without a care.
There's people on their own.
And people in a group.
Some of them are sporty,
And some are wearing suits.
There's people drinking tea.
And people with their phones.
Men buying baby clothes,
and women buying gnomes
There's people going in.
And people coming out.
All with one obsession,
Getting new possession.
I don't go there often:
Far too many people!
