Don't tell me
- Love, hate and parting
Not based on an actual situation, but I understand
some of the feelings.
Don't tell me that you want me, only to walk away.
Don't look that way at me, if you're not going to stay.
Don't put me through this roller-coaster another time.
Don't go with other guys, when you say that you are mine.
It's not that fair on me, and it must be hard on you.
Do you understand just what your actions put me through?
As much as I worship the ground that you walk upon
Sometimes I find myself wishing you already gone.
Don't tell me that you love me, when you know you're faking.
I'd rather you would tell me, that you were just looking.
I was a stand-in, till someone better came along.
Don't whisper in my ear when you have the words all wrong.
Don't come round my house again, I've better things to do.
Don't call or write to me, I don't want to hear from you.
Don't expect sympathy, or any form of comfort.
You see after all, I don't think it's worth the effort.
