Cuppa Tea
- Tea can work wonders
A little slice of life over a cup of tea.
It started from an image of the lady who is alsways
making tea in "Father Ted". [I always end up speaking
the verse in some sort of Irish accent.]
So you say you've cut your hair? Would you like a cuppa tea?
And you say you've bought a dress? Would you like a cuppa tea?
You're feeling crushed with despair? Would you like a cuppa tea?
And your life is in a mess? Would you like a cuppa tea?
Cuppa tea? Cuppa tea? Cuppa tea? Cuppa tea?
Would you like a cuppa tea? Yeah I'd love a cuppa tea.
Cuppa tea? Cuppa tea? Cuppa tea? Cuppa tea?
Would you like a cuppa tea? Yeah I'd love a cuppa tea.
You've the builders in again? Would you like a cuppa tea?
Yeah a patio is nice! Would you like a cuppa tea?
And you're going out with Ben? Would you like a cuppa tea?
You've already done it twice? Would you like a cuppa tea?
Chorus
No I haven't heard the news. Would you like a cuppa tea?
Not the bloke from twenty-one. Would you like a cuppa tea?
Caught him in the public loos? Would you like a cuppa tea?
Never thought that he was one! Would you like a cuppa tea?
Chorus
You're on another cruise then? Would you like a cuppa tea?
So how much does Bobby make? Would you like a cuppa tea?
You've to lose 10 pounds by when? Would you like a cuppa tea?
Shame you can't eat this cake then! Would you like a cuppa tea?
Chorus
(Repeat last line)
