Play The Triangle
- It's not such a simple instrument
Not being able to play any kind of musical instrument, I think we should not overlook the skill of the triangle player. [Crooning refrain, smooth verse.]

Don't let anyone ... put you down,
Cos you can only play the tri-an-gle.
Just have a go, express yourself,
Make believe the sounds are ... musical.

Never let them say ... it's easy.
Not when the tuning process can be hell.
You may need to file metal down,
Weld on an extra bit, you just can't tell.

Yes you can play a ... tune with one.
It only takes some careful fingering.
You hit it with a metal stick,
Or tap it softly with a golden ring.

Don't let anyone ... put you down,
Cos you can only play the tri-an-gle.
Just have a go, express yourself,
Make believe the sounds are ... musical.

It can be such a ... pleasant sound.
Keeping rhythm and filling out the tune.
Heard above biggest orchestras,
But you can practice in your smallest room.

All in all it's a ... special thing.
Something to be treasured and not be scorned.
The next time someone laughs at you,
Say your instrument is perfectly formed!

Don't let anyone ... put you down,
Cos you can only play the tri-an-gle.
Just have a go, express yourself,
Make believe the sounds are ... musical.
(Repeat)
