In The Land Across The Bay
- Pure chocolate fantasy
There is just one little problem with this wonderful
vision of cakes and sweets.
You can gorge yourself on chocolate,
In the land across the bay.
You might find a jelly rabbit,
And eat it with curds and whey.
You can climb a trifle mountain,
In the land across the bay.
You can wade through lakes of treacle,
And drink lemonade all day.
Catch bubbles on a lollipop,
Let sherbet tickle your nose.
Have all the dairy cream you want,
Liquorice ropes on your toes.
Feel the warmth of freshly baked cakes,
Run your fingers through doughnuts.
Cover your arm in marzipan.
Shower yourself in peanuts.
You can have a box of chocolates,
In the land across the bay.
That only has your favourites in,
And always has one last tray.
You can always have a strawberry,
In the land across the bay.
And you can always have ice cream,
In the land across the bay.
But there is a tiny problem,
With the land across the bay.
There's only one boat to get there,
It only sails yesterday.
