Make Time To Think
- No matter how hard you party, rest a little
A simple message really (one that I ought to heed more often!) about leaving some time in the week for reflecting on your life.

You gotta get on up, before you can get on down.
Can't be that square if you want to get around town.
But remember you need some time on your own
To think through those crazy things you've just been shown.

Sometimes you just gotta go out and paint the town red.
Sometimes you just need to get completely off your head.
It's all good, and it's all part of an active lifestyle.
Just make time to sit and think it through, once in a while.

At the seventies theme night, you should strut your stuff.
At the hockey after party, you should play it tough.
Let your hair down and enjoy your life to the max.
After a while though, you'll find it's good to relax.

Show the world you can party like the wildest animal.
Take your mates to each and every summer festival.
Push back the limits that stop you from having fun.
Just make room for thinking as you lie in the sun.

Pushing the air and pumping the floor to a slamin' track
Make your way to the dance floor without looking back.
Playing with poison as they are playing your tune
Is OK for now, but tomorrow you should stay in your room.

It's great to stay up really late Thursday night at the pub.
Spend the hours of darkness for two whole days at the club.
Spread your wings and really fly with your mind in a spin.
Just remember that Sunday is then a night to stay in.

So should we do as I say, and live the life that I preach?
Or just carry on drinking so long as the bar is in reach?
Your choice is your own one, but mind is quite clear.
You'll find that way past eleven, I'm gonna be here!
