Voices Are Saying
- Ignore the voices that say stop
Just for a little while, I'd like to deny the fact that I'm getting
older and I should be sensible.
Voices that I hear, say I'm doing it wrong.
Voices that I hear, say I've not got that long.
Well I'm not listening, I don't want to hear.
Don't want to be told what to do while I'm here.
Well I know it's not a responsible way to live,
But the more I think about it, the more I don't give
A second thought for the things I want to do.
So here I am again, out on the town with you.
I have no compulsion or desire to self-destruct
Just to spread my wings a little before I construct
Plans for the rest of my life, when I settle for my lot.
I want to regret some things I did, and nothing I did not.
