There's No Defence
- Helpless against suicide bombers
On this anniversary of the destruction of the World Trade Centre twin towers,
I felt we were helpless in our fight against the suicide bombers. I hope I
am wrong.
How can we defend, against a man who intends, to take his own life?
A man who is willing, in pursuit of killing us, to kill himself.
There's no defence.
How can we deal, with those who would conceal, a bomb on a bus?
Men killing kids, despite religion that forbids such lethal crime.
There's no defence.
To be a martyr, is better than to barter, with those of different views.
They follow the order, fight for the border, never questioning why.
There's no defence.
Where is our power, when a plane brings down the tower, to the ground?
Where is our might, when after the fight, they appear on video tape.
There's no defence.
How can we win, when a pocketful of sarin, can kill a subway train?
How do we succeed, when a country aims to breed, its men to kill?
We cannot win.
There's no defence.
