A World Inside
- Wanting to say what I feel inside
Written for a special (nameless) person for whom I have inner thoughts, but outwardly no actions towards. I think we all have an inner fantasy world.

There's a world outside with people in.
There's a world inside I'm free within.
There's only one who's in both of them.
And it's you. It will always be you.

Out there I can only smile at you.
Inside all my greatest dreams come true.
How I wish you'd know the way I feel.
But you can't. Cos it's all in my mind.

There's no direct way to touch my soul.
My guard is up, when I'm in control.
There is no loophole to let you in.
I can't speak. I'm trapped on the inside.

The world outside can be cruel and cold.
My world has its temperature controlled.
My emotions never leaking out.
Those coming in take time to work through.

Memory and dreaming try to win.
Did it happen? Will it soon begin?
So many times I haven't kissed you.
There was no start, but I will miss you.
