Error In Tyming
- Shared house woes
Written whilst sharing a house with fellow students on a working year out from studies in Brighton 1986.

Bed, bed, oh I must get out of my bed.
I try, I try, but I can't get it into my head
That the day has dawned, the world's awake
And to stay in bed's a big mistake.

Just five more minutes, just one more snooze
Cos I'm still suffering from all that booze.
I'll get up at quarter past, that'll do.
But as I speak, someone steals the loo!

Well that's torn it, I hear someone laugh.
And now they've hijacked the bath.
Now just look how far I've got.
I've been and lost my bathroom slot.

What do I do now, do I wash or eat?
I've already decided as I'm on my feet.
I've got to eat - to have some food.
Else I'll be in the foulest mood.

I'm out of milk, the fridge is bare.
This is too much, it's just not fair!
Oh well, I'll have some toast.
I've got some jam, well almost.

What a Monday, what a start.
I always find this the hardest part.
And wish as I start yawning,
That I could get up in the morning.
